The census lists the head of household as John Jansen, belived to be John Herman Jansen, living with five sons Alfred Jansen who is belived to be Alfred John Jansen, Anthony Jansen who is belived to be Anthony Harold Jansen, Edward Jansen who is belived to be Edward Hernan Jansen, John Jansen who is belived to be John Jerome Jansen, and Louis Jansen who is believed to be Louis Arthur Jansen. This is consistant with verbal family histories and other known documentation.
The Jansen family were reported to the enumerated they were renting their home paying $5 per month for rent, and John was occupied as a Carpenter.
