She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Cager Crews; her second husband, Stevenson Manor; a son and daughter-in-law, Benny Crews and Brenda Morgan Crews; two grandsons, James E. Johns and Brian Ramer; a son-in-law, Dan Ramer; two brothers, Volleny Rozier and Payton Rozier; three sisters, Elsie Ussery, Julia Smith, and Ellav Crews. Mrs. Laveta was a member of Riverside Chapel Baptist Church for 45 years. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and loved by everyone who knew her .
