{{has person |name=Waudell Crews}}, 85, of Folkston, passed away July 23, 2017 in Donaldsonville, GA.
 
 
 
He was born in Winokur on October 2, 1931 to the late {{has person |name=Arch Crews}} and {{has person |name=Dossie Harris Crews}}.
 
 
 
Mr. Crews proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and he was a faithful member at Sand Hill Baptist Church.
 
 
 
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, {{has person |name=Vera Crews]]; two sisters, {{has person |name=Louise Crews |alt=Louise Stewart}} and {{has person |name=Evelyn Crews |alt=Evelyn Hilton}}; and two brothers, {{has person |name=Hilton Crews}} and {{has person |name=Ed Crews}}.
 
 
 
He is survived by his sons, Terry (Judy) Crews and Chuck (Ann) Crews; six grandchildren, Tim Crews, Steven Crews, Amanda Parker, Andrew Crews, Jay Crews and Christy Crews; five great-grandchildren, Edan Crews, Eliana Crews, Fisher Parker, Maverick Crews and Bodie Crews; two sisters, Frieda Nettles and Clarice Mullins; a brother, Lamar Crews; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
 
 
 
The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 26 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home in Folkston from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 27 at 11:00 a.m. at Sand Hill Baptist Church with Dr. Jack Stolte and Rev. Trent Long officiating. Burial will be in Racepond Cemetery at Sand Hill Baptist Church.
 
 
 
Condolences may be expressed by signing the guest registry at www.shepardfh.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home in Folkston.
