Calculating the date of birth based on the age listed yeilds Tuesday, February 13, 1798, which does not match the date listed on the same headstone.

The 1850-1880 show 52, 62[3], 73, 83[4], respectively, wich puts the birth between 1797-1798.

Another more modern marker has been placed ajacent to the headstone mentioned above[5]. It is clearly legible, and appears have been placed near the headstone several years after the origonal headstone.

Both markers are located New Hope Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Hickox, Brantley County, Georgia, in the United States[6].

Jacob Hickox is found on the 1850 census aged two months old, however he does not appear on the 1860 census where he would have been about 10 years old.
