Mr. King was born August 12, 1950, in {{has county|Charlton County}}, to the late {{has person |name=Lester Lee King}} and {{{{has person |name=Thelma Crews King}}. He attended the Shiloh Southern Congregational Methodist Church, and was the owner of Kings Coastal Land Clearing.
Survivors are two daughters: {{has person |name=Shanda King |alt=Shanda Zenner}}, of {{has city|Homerville}}, and {{has person |name=LaTasha Wilson}}, of {{has city|Hillard}}, one son: {{has person |name=Joshua King}}, of {{has city|Hillard}}; two brothers: {{has person |name=Robert King}} and {{has person |name=Larry King}}, both of {{has city|Brunswick}}; ten grandchildren; and several other relatives.
Services for Mr. King were held February 13, at 11 a.m., from the Roundtree Funeral Home Chapel.
Internment followed in [[Sardis Cemetery]], {{has city|Folkston}}, at 2 p.m.
The family received friends February 13 at the Roundtree Funeral Home Chapel, before the service began from 9-11 a.m.
