Born James Randal Crews (Jimmie H. Crews) on Template:As born, Folkston, Charlton County, Georgia to Ira Crews and Allie Crews[1]. It's not known if or when exactly James changed his name, but at some point he started going by Jimmie H. Crews, which is the name he used until his death. He died 16 February 1998[2].

Homestead
Jimmie purchased the land in two tracts from John W.Buchanan after his death in what appears to be a sale by the City of Folkston on 8 Jul 1949.
Jimmie built the house himself and few years later and it was completed by the early 1950's. It is still standing today, and is where Delana currently resides.
In May 1987, Jimmie divided the deeded the land to his children. Since then Ricky, Janice, Letrelle have taken up residence on their pacells, where they still live today.

Jimmie died 16 Feb 1998, Folkston, Charlton County, Georgia; buried Sardis Cemetery, Folkston, Charlton County, Georgia.
