All Officers and Soldiers joined and enrolled at General Rendezvous, When, Where, By whom, for 6 months 23 July 1857 at Alligator, Fla. by Capt. W. H. CONE; mustered 23 July 1857 at Alligator by Capt. C. B. KILBURN; payment due from enrollment; no miles to rendezvous, 190 miles from place of discharge home; value of horse and horse equipments will follow the name of each man; remarks. Estimate year of birth 1931.

The following notation appeared above the heading on the Muster Roll "Not in the service of the U. S.A. 1st period of service 21 February 1856 to August 1856."Muster Roll of Capt. FRANCIS M. DURRANCE'S Company of Florida Mounted Volunteers, commanded by Capt. F. M. DURRANCE, called into the service of the State of Florida on the 4 February 1856 by His excellency, JAMES E. BROOME, Governor from the commencement of actual service, as shewn on this Muster Roll and indefinite period. Above the remarks column was the following notation "As Things _? in Governor's instructions". The entire company joined and enrolled 29 December 1858 at Ft. Meade by Capt. FRANCIS M. DURRANCE for an indefinite period so designated as "Till Discharged". The number of miles to the rendezvous and value of horses and equipment will follow each name as well as remarks. Estimated year of birth 1816.
